FARMERS MARKETS AND COVID19

We are living in uncertain times with this virus, but we are certain our customers will need fresh, nutrient-dense produce.  We are unsure of the status of the farmers markets we attend, but anticipate they might be postponed.  We take the health of our customers and community very seriously and are following CDC guidelines for food safety.

The best and only (at this time) way to purchase our plants and produce, is to sign up for our CSA Shares.  Please visit the CSA page for details or sign up here.

You can find our produce every Saturday from April through November at the Charlottesville City Market, Nelson County Farmers Market, and South of the James Market. We start off the season in April with diverse varieties of tomato (13 heirloom), pepper, flower, and herb plants for your home garden. Plant starts continue through June.

Mid-April starts the beginning of kale, radishes, and lettuces. May brings root crops like turnips, beets, and the start of scallions, cabbages, and chard.

As the season progresses, we bring squash, cucumbers, onions, garlic, and over 20 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes.

Cut flowers begin in June and continue until October. Come out and visit us at the markets. We look forward to meeting you!
